Arielle Lewis
Arielle Lewis was first introduced to Pilates in high school following a soccer-related knee injury. Recommended by her physical therapist, Pilates quickly became her go-to for strength training and rehabilitation—and she instantly fell in love with both the method and the apparatus. The blend of strength, flexibility, recovery, and the mind-body-breath connection kept her coming back to the practice again and again.
She completed her Comprehensive Classical Pilates certification at CorePilates NYC and plans to continue her education with a Classical Pre/Post-Natal Pilates training. Arielle is also a Certified Yoga Instructor, specializing in Hatha and Yin Yoga, with training from Mount Madonna Institute and YogaWorks in Northern California. She is passionate about helping clients cultivate awareness through the breath-centered practices of both Pilates and yoga.
Arielle deeply honors the lineages of her teachers—Joseph Pilates and Baba Hari Dass—while staying current with evolving, evidence-based approaches, especially those focused on women’s health. Before transitioning into fitness and wellness full-time, she worked in psychological research for five years. Her published work explores topics such as osteoporosis and yoga, the intersection of meditation and mental health, spirituality and psychotherapy, and the effects of meditation on longevity.
In sessions with Arielle, you can expect serious, knowledgeable instruction delivered with an upbeat tempo, warmth, and humor. She’ll encourage you to strengthen through your powerhouse, move with intention, and connect deeply to your breath, alignment, and body awareness.
Outside the studio, you’ll find Arielle exploring NYC with her husband Ari—hitting up parks, museums, and gluten-free hotspots—researching the latest fitness trends, diving into romantasy novels, or spending time with family on Long Island.
