Kyra Sorce is a New York–based professional dancer, performer, and teacher with a lifelong background in the physical arts. She is thrilled to be teaching at Westside Pilates, where she brings a classical foundation infused with a personal focus on sustainability, strength, and injury prevention.

Kyra is a founding member of Pilates for Performers, an initiative dedicated to making Pilates education more accessible and affordable within the performing arts community. Her trusted mentors include Barbra Hoon (6 Degrees of Pilates) and Allison Johnson (The Pilates Room), both of whom have deeply influenced her approach to movement and teaching.

With wellness and awareness at the heart of her practice, Kyra believes we are entering a new era of harmony and flow—one where mindful movement can empower and transform. As a performer, she starred as Anita in the international tour of West Side Story, among many other acclaimed productions.
