Taylor Gordon

Taylor Gordon is a New York City–based Pilates instructor and professional dancer with over 14 years of teaching experience. She is certified in both mat and apparatus Pilates through Pilates Academy International, where she also served as a Teacher Trainer. In addition, she holds specialist certifications in Senior Fitness, Functional Training, and Group Fitness from the American Council on Exercise, and has completed a 200-hour yoga certification.

Taylor’s teaching and performance career has taken her around the globe, including Bali, Tokyo, Shanghai, India, and throughout the United States. She has worked with a wide range of clients—spanning all ages, levels, and abilities—including beginners, individuals recovering from injury, and clients with visual impairments. Her passion lies in making movement joyful and accessible for everyone.

In New York City, Taylor has taught at premier studios such as The Pilates Movement, Pilates on Fifth, Crunch, The Mercedes Club, and for the United Nations Ballet Club. As a dancer, she has performed at Lincoln Center with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, in four seasons of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Off-Broadway and on national tour in Angelina Ballerina The Musical, and internationally as a director and dance captain with Spirit Productions since 2019. She also choreographs for Princeton University and has worked alongside numerous Broadway choreographers as a Show Supervisor with RWS Global.

Taylor earned both her BA in Communication Arts and a Master's degree in Publishing by age 20, and continues to work as a freelance writer. Her work and expertise have been featured in outlets such as The New York Times, CNN, NBC, FOX5, Dance Magazine, Dance Teacher, Pointe, and The Times of India.
